This role currently reports to the VP of Marketing.

Paravel is at an exciting moment of growth & expansion as they become the first 100% sustainable travel lifestyle brand. We are looking for a leader that has a passion for data/analytics to help execute our 360 integrated marketing strategy — including product launches, brand positioning, e-CRM, merchandising, marketing and campaigns, and omnichannel initiatives.

This person will play a pivotal role in solidifying our strategic sustainability brand positioning, architecting our end-to-end product marketing plans, and overseeing our go-to-market digital strategies and initiatives globally to drive performance against several key success metrics, including customer acquisition, conversion, frequency, and loyalty.

In this role, you will act as a standout individual contributor in devising strategies/project management as well as a strong quarterback in executing plans with cross-functional partners. Working side by side with your departmental VP, you will own projects that ensure marketing is designed with creativity but also have the data to back up their execution. An eye for detail, organization, data and all consumer touchpoints will be key for a successful candidate.

Roles & Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Manage day-to-day execution for all aspects of organic brand channels (go-market strategy, email, SMS marketing), their respective briefs, and post-mortem for marketing initiatives – problem-solving, researching, providing recommendations, and implementing solutions.
  • Perform ongoing analysis of consumer activity, products, and trends in order to develop marketing briefs, merchandising recommendations, and insights. This data analysis will include both daily monitoring of key metrics and goals as well as assisting in business reviews needed to help orient long-term business planning strategy.
  • Serve as an ongoing source of truth for our on-site consumer journey & email & product strategy that will influence strategic business recommendations. Your love of data will ensure you are always up to date on new trends, partners, influencers, sustainability, and worthwhile insights.
  • Obtain fluency in Paravel’s proprietary research, insights, and KPIs for efficient leverage across daily and long-term projects.
  • Gain a clearer understanding of Paravel consumers (demographics, psychographics and behaviors) and develop cohorts to connect more effectively across channels and markets.
  • Support the development of immediate tools to access strategic information across multiple touchpoints and look for ways to enhance efficiency across current workflows and drive the business.
  • Assist with projects cross-functionally with other teammates to ensure a consistent voice and aligned strategic vision across all efforts of the Paravel business.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties contributing to Brand Management success as requested.

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3-5 years related work experience
  • Experience of working in categories where executional excellence is valued (e.g. Sustainability, Luxury, Beauty & Hospitality).
  • Ideal but not required: Knowledge of Klaviyo, Google Analytics, & Shopify+
  • Proficient computer skills (Google Suite, Slack, Asana, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
